What a weekend!

Holy cow this weekend was crazy! I didn't get a chance to rest at all and I'm suffering today. Friday we went to a party at our friends house from church and we had a great time! Everyone was wide open. We stayed late over there that night. Then Saturday i had to get up and come to work and that was really busy. I didn't sit down the whole time. Not to mention we didn't have any hot water Saturday morning because the heating element went out and so that had to be replaced. When I got home from work John and his dad were working on that and I was so hungry but had to wait on them to get done. Then after they finished John and I went to get something to eat and to go to Wally World to get some of those thermal curtains because our windows in the house are NOT insulated :o( and those are suppose to keep the cold/warm air out. We have really had to work on our house this weekend. So we get the curtains and i have to iron them while John is putting up the valances which seemed to take forever. It all paid off because now our house is at 65 and feels warmer than before. Our power bill, along with everyone else, was doubled and it has been so cold so the pumps are working hard. I wouldn't be surprised if it went out because yesterday I went to wash all 6 loads of clothes that had been piling up and the washing machine was broke and I ended up going to the laundry mat for the majority of the day and got nothing done at the house! GRRRR!!!!! Hopefully its just the belt and will be an easy fix! We made our first house payment yesterday and that was sad! but I'm also proud to pay it! So now I'm at work and the weekend is over and I'm kinda glad! I wonder what the Almighty has in store for me now?

They are calling for snow tonight and I hope it snows a foot! I love to look at it. Snow is such a neat thing God created! I need to take some really good snow pictures and I wanna watch the dogs play in it again! That was such a treat! I love being snowed in with my hubby! Well I'm gonna cut this one short cause I'm still at work!

Behold! 2010

Oh Wow! Did I have a great Christmas break. I took an extra week off to get some things done around the house. John took a week off too so it was so nice. It was nice sharing Christmas with Him. We woke up around 6 or 6:30 cause we just couldn't sleep. So we got up and I made a pot of coffee and we sat on the couch and we opened presents. He Got me a couple of sweaters and some really soft socks and goodies, and a fiddle. I have been wanting to learn how to play so he got me one and I've been doing really good with it. If I hadn't taken piano as a kid then I probably wouldn't have the patience to learn it. I can play a few songs but I just have to practice practice practice! My nephews were so much fun on Christmas! They were so funny to watch. I just love both of them so much! Can't wait to have some of my own! New years was nice! We just chilled at the house with a friend of ours and we had a good time ringing in the new year. New year's day we went to our friend's house and shot clay pigeons. I haven't shot a gun in a long time. Those guns were pretty big and had a big kick so my shoulder was hurting for a couple of days. It killed me because I couldn't lift my arm to hold the bow to my fiddle. Needless to say I had to give my poor fiddle a rest. So then the fun was over and we had to go back to work but we get to go to beach in April! Whoot whoot!

Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to take the time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! I have been so bless this year! It started off pretty rough but by the spring time, God began to do a wonderful work in my life! In May, I began my life with who now is my husband! This is our first Christmas together and I couldn't be more excited about it! Christmas this year is by far gonna be the best yet! I have so so much to be thankful for! My God is such a might God and as I look back to last year, WOW! What a difference. A wonderful difference. It's an absolute joy to have me best friend as my husband, a beautiful new home to have Christmas in and share it with the most amazing man i have ever known! I can't forget my little four-legged kids, Fancy, Shadow, Jenny, and June! I love my furry children! I can't imagine what Christmas will be like when we have "real" kids! But its definitely something I'm looking forward to! I get to see my nephews tomorrow and I know that will be a blast! Along with spending time with the rest of my family. I can't thank God enough for bringing me out of the rough I was in and bring me and my family close again. I love you Lord. Have a very Merry Christmas everyone!
